Life as "normal"

I was able to go 19 months without an injection but eventually I had to get injected as I continued with the Bowen therapy. I went from 2006 to late 2010 living a very normal and active life...God is good. I felt great and continued to move forward in life with slight disruptions from dystonia.

However, in late 2010 I had another root canal and a cracked tooth and now my symptoms returned but now my head started pulling to the left instead of the right when I was originally diagnosed. It was like starting all over---the pain, the involuntary pulling, being diagnosed again and new injection points. I was completely deflated yet continued to stay focused on God, family and determined to get well.

However, from 2011 to late 2012 I limped along...some months and injections better than others. Sometimes the spots were injected correctly and sometimes they were off just enough that I was uncomfortable. Then my original neurologist decided to quit and I was referred to another specialist on movements disorders. We limped along over the past few years and had some real rough bouts of dystonia "attacking" with a vengeance! I literally lived minute by minute and was afraid to make any long therm plans, vacations or obligations. However, during these times of trials God called to read his Word daily, draw closer to Jesus and continue to grow in faith and trust in him. I believe that's when things drastically changed.

---James 3:17-18 (GW)---17 However, the wisdom that comes from above is first of all pure. Then it is peaceful, gentle, obedient, filled with mercy and good deeds, impartial, and sincere. 18 A harvest that has God's approval comes from the peace planted by peacemakers.
